So this morning I opened my inbox to find some new mail as usual. I scroll through it reading the ones that only interest me, when all of a sudden I see in my inbox an email regarding tuition. The first thought that popped in my mind was Fuck don’t tell me they fucked up my tuition payment. The good news was that they didn’t screw up my payment, but what the email basically said that the UofC’s board of governers had approved a 3.3% tuition increase. I read on further about how it was in the students interst that it will increase quality of learning and all this other jargon. But what it came down to was that this email is the Uof C’s way of saving face with it’s students. I personally think it is just another way to fuck the students in the ass without using any form of lube.
One broke and soon to be further broke university student.
PS: And get this in the email they said they wanted to keep uni education affordable.

The answer is most likely yes, because I have been invited to come out and join the university solar car team. I have always been interested in different sources of energy, other then fossil fuels. There has always been this kind of negitive stigma with having slow alternative vehicles. But I have always wanted to create an eco friendly racer, or at least an eco friendly car that didn’t look like shit on wheel’s.

So my question to those who still visit this site is wether or not i should get in on this team, and what should i bring to it?
PS. Angry Brown Guy is back from getting his pack of cigars. So there you go Bilal

If you guys think that British comedy is dry and boring (Mr. Bean being the exception) you guys are in for a treat. I have fallen in love with the British game show “Distraction”. Think of it as American Jepordy but with some edge.
This show can be found on the comedy network at 12AM on Friday nights and at other times too, if you want to see this show look at the TV guide.
David i think u might like this show a lot.

Thats right I finally got around to getting more vocal chords for my warlock, I went and purchased a Boss Turbo Distortion sstomp box. My original choices as most of you know was a Zoom pedal but after realizing that it fell short of what I wanted it to do. This pedal is desigend to handle really really heavy metal the likes of IN FLAMES. I am still tweaink with the sound gates on both the pedal my amp and my guitars i am still trying to find that level of heaviness without going so overboard that there is warmth in the sounds only clash. I think i have found some settings i like but not something that is unique to me. The amount of distortion i get from this pedals actually vibrates my windows and shakes my gundam models. I am not allowed to playguitar that loud nor am I aloud to play whenmy parents are home and if they are i got to play in the basement or with headphones on. It is amazing how much of a difference a distortion pedal makes when playing a guitar. Before this i never had a pedal but i did use some, for me i had to max my amp and guitar to get decent distortion at best but with the turbo distortion I get Fistfuls of DIstortion.

I give this pedal 10 Michale Jacksons out of 10

I am one of those types of people who cant wear earbud headphones for too long without having them pop out of my inner ear canal. I was wating for a whoop ass set of head phones to hit the market that were affordable and wouldn’t blow out if I cranked them on my guitar amp. So after waiting for a while I finally found the headphones I wanted and they were the SKULL CANDY GI’s. These are awsome because they give out such a nice rich atmospheric sound that I really have been searching for. The GI’s have a good set of speakers not just your typical headphone speakers these are more like small computer speakers. They are awsome because they have a manual in line speaker volume control which I like because unlike a digital volume control which has a decible cap that the “MAN” makes maufactures implement manual volume controls cant be governed which simply means I can listen to my music REALLY LOUD. A major plus for me is that these headphones haven’t blown apart when I plugged them into my amp and cranked it up to 11(max), but dont worry I wasn’t wearing them when I tried this the noise and distortion would have made me deaf. The GI’s not only deliver wicked atmospheric sound they also look awsome with the desert camo headphone pads and top connecting band, and not to mention the stealth black paint job accented with skulls all over the headphones. When I first saw these they were and still are $100 but thanks to my staff discount I got em 4 cheap. 35 denarios! And get this the manufactures know that that people using the GI’s will be skating or snowboarding or doing something so they cover all headphone damage.
Tech Specs:
Driver dia.: 41mm
Magnet type: NdFeB
Frequancy range : 20 – 20000Hz
Impedance: 50ohms
Max input power: 400mW
Cable type: OFC
Cable length: 3m
Plug type: 3.5mm gold plated
Accessory: 3.5 > 6.3mm adapter (included)
PS: These headphones are designed by skaters and snowboardes and they say that these are designed for abuse. And you get a secon set of standard blackcolor ear pads if you not a fan of the camo.

So I went to go and see a movie that will probably be on my favorites list now, and that movie was Miami Vice. This is not going to be a movie review cause i dont want to ruin it and i am not good at movie reviews. The only advice I give to those who choose to watch this movie is 1. Piss before the movie starts cause it is really long 2. Get a whoop ass seat because if you don’t you will pretty much destroy your vision. 3. Get good food, and loads of it cause this movie is long. Miami Vice has an awsome soundtrack that really helps to add to the movie and it replaces useless dialouge that other movies tend to have.
PS: There is a ton of cop lingo and specific intel terms that is used so pay close attention.

After four years the boys from AFI are back, Their new album “DECEMBERUNDERGROUND” came out on 666, but I didn’t get it until 667 cause I wanted the discount from work. After listening to the album about 3 times through I can safley say it is EMO free. This album is quite good it will take a lot more listeing for it to top “SING THE SORROW” but I am sure it can. On this album Davey Havok said himself that the album would be a more evolved sound. I can say that the song writing is darker but still has retained the mystical sound that got me to like AFI. AFI has incorperated the use of synthesizers for this album but only to add effects to their guitar sounds that couldn’t be created by foot pedals and effects board. This album is less of an aggressive attack then previous AFI works but it still has some good power. If you are an AFI fan I recomend picking this album up, give it some time and the album will grow on you just like “SING THE SORROW” did.

Well for those of you who don’t know this about me I am a guitarist and have been playing since grade 8. Up until two weeks ago I played on my Ibanez Les Paul (mock) it was made in the 70’s, and I found this out by doing a lot of searching on the net, Ibanez no longer makes this model thats how old my guitar is. My Ibanez is great but really old a lot of the hard ware has gone on it and the distortion is so bad that upgrades to pickups and electrics would cost me a ton. (Time to stop rambling). Ever since I could remeber I have had a place in my heart for a B.C. Rich Warlock, but it was always just a dream cause I sure as hell couldn’t afford it. On May 17 2006 (My b day) my dad went out and got me my WARLOCK, that made my whole birthday. I love this guitar it can play clean channels so nicley and thin flick the switch over to overdrive and I have so much good distortion that my 1980’s small force II crate amp can’t even handel it. Over the years I have been evolving my musical playing style from punk to more recently power metal (minus the power cause my old amp can’t cope with the warlocks power). The warlock has such a sinister shape that it just screams metal. Because my amp can’t cope with the warlocks power I am going to go out and buy a new Peavy Rage transtube amp, and I am going to pick up a zoom 505II effects board so that I can give my beast more sounds.
